History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and balancing her hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Veit is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Morana's homeland. Morana decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
