History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Menny embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Menny was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Menny's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After months of barely getting by, Menny managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
