Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Patrin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Patrin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and further expansion of business

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears long strands of amber and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ilga is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Ilga hails from a village terrorized by giants. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is fixated on the number 11. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Shedinn was born with his father's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shedinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a violet coat. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. This blue eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Guy lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. After a long history of fighting, Guy and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to reunite with his absent father
