History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Naeris was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Naeris's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
