History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shágflak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shágflak. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

History: Pallabar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Pallabar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
