History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Rael was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mason. Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Weaver. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
