History: Shadow was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ortegar will drive conversation. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Ortegar was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barrister who has hired her part-time. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born in the south. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she's in love

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shax is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She now owns her own business.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Courier profession.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Farmer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and further expansion of business

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
