History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Great was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Vaina was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Unemployed, and she later adopted a second son.
