History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Rael took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Skak learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Skak and his spouse have recently divorced.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
