Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Veit does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Veit was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Greeba was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and balancing her hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is greedy

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Diesa never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of a Sculptor, who enjoyed hunting, Pennie was taken on many hunting expeditions. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
