History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the south. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Through the years after Gargax was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gargax's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
