History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. During her travels, Valanthe and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Valanthe discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Valanthe fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
