History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Marbas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Sariel was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Apothecary. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
