History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and regain custody of his son

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Gerard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gerard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and seeks redemption

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Braak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Braak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Braak and his spouse have recently divorced.
