History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Quarethon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
