Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Mord was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ploughman. After a long history of fighting, Mord and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
