History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

History: Laucian was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and expand his business

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
