History: Adelard was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: Solomon hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and someone believes him a fraud
