History: Katherine lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Tana was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

History: Born in the north to a Masseuse, Theren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He tends to his Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and balancing his hectic life and new masseuse responsibilities is difficult

History: Born to a Marshal, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
