Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Ranala learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Ranala abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dyer for the past few years.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Dyer. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
