History: She was born in the north. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Kellen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
