History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Sweet was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Sweet's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Hadwisa abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to get a good night's sleep
