History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sage arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Through the years after Aerdeth was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aerdeth's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Aerdeth and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Damien's homeland. Damien decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
