History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Efferil was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bricklayer. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Malquis was born the youngest of three triplets. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born in a small island village. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Irann alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Irann was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
