Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a green tunic with blue highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around her shoes, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is blue and curly. Her white eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Makaria embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.
History: She is a Lamia in disguise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: This late middle aged woman is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down and is in decent physical shape. She has a very tight haircut. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady gray eyes.
Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Lilli was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lilli decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: She is greedy; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: Helja was born with her father's beautiful face. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.
History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has worked as a Dilettante like her mother before her.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Adran was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Body Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by a spirit.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He wants to get laid; and wants his loneliness to end
