Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Being a Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ekemon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

The war was a terrible time for him, and Hadarai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her first spouse was a Marshal, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Callybon is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
