Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Soapmaker but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
