Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pearl embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her first spouse was a Banker, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Nija was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nija's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nija and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Nalral has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Barber, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Marshal like her father before her.

History: Oppleby was born with his father's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
