History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 79. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sellsword. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and balancing his hectic life and new sellsword responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Arara was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
