Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
