Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joan embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. Being a Priest kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
