History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Roge was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Shifting learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Fenriz is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Fletcher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.
