History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Kite will drive conversation. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Kite has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hecat embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hecat and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Detective, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Burto was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and expand his business

Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
