History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Map Maker for the past few years.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a whip, but if one is not available she will default to her halberd. She sports a flattop fur cut. She has gleaming, smiling yellow eyes.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Tree was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She married young, but lost her spouse to orcs. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.
Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born in a small forest village. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Nim was born with his mother's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Knight and occasionally as a mercenary.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Shautha was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Shautha was born on a far eastern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Roofer. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Her eyes are green and beady.
Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.
History: She was born into a rich family. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the north to a Mercenary, Nurkara learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

Description: She likes to wear tan tank tops with black skirt. She carries with her a set of scythes on her belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bricklayer who has hired her part-time. The war was a terrible time for her, and Lia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
