History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shamil grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Emma hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Rurik hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Rurik alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.
