History: Gardain was born with his father's beautiful face. Gardain was a troubled youth. History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
