During his travels, Chay and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Chay discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Chay fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
