History: Born in the west to a Shoemaker, Shaena learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Shoemaker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kaladan was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed.
