History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Jane was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Crown-heir. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ubada's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
