Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Theirastra's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Theirastra is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.
