History: She was raised in a island tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Tree took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor she uses now. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her long purple hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are black and catlike.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Rieta was born with her father's beautiful face. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a blue tunic with brown highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sage who has hired her part-time. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Riswynn is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Layabout father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Jezean is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Jezean learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
