History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Five fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Server, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
