Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and expand his business

His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Faral was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Faral's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Faral and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
