History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Personality: She is mildly Gnome supremacist, though she does not identify as such. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Ranala's homeland. Ranala decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ranala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pearl was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Glim reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Mormog learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

History: Justin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
