History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hûmgrat was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
