History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Eida never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sariel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sariel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her youth she was a Ploughman, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.
