She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A gifted student she started as a Unemployed, but she got bored and became a Bather. She has worked as a Bather like her mother before her.

Personality: Alston wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alston fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Egelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
