History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During her travels, Volen and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Volen discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Volen fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Ruloth was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ruloth was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She got into the Painter business at a young age. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
