History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Mardnab was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mardnab's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Felosial has worked very hard to control her curse. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Blacksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
