Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Animal Trainer. Shifting enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Shifting was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His lavender fur is thinning but still full. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Apothecary they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Dwarven compassion; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Ubada lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Banker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Performer, and she later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to raise her children well

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Anne liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Sporting a brown mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for her, and Jarana does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When Jarana reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.
History: Rangrim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Elysande has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
